General Finishes Hard Wax Oil

Hard Wax Oil is General Finishes’ easiest finish ever—simply wipe on, let stand for 5-10 minutes, then wipe off! A high-quality urethane-solids polymer in a blend of oil & wax, it enhances the natural look of wood while providing deep protection. The urethane gives Hard Wax Oil improved chemical and mechanical properties over standard oil & wax finishes. Recommended for interior raw wood furniture, millwork & woodworking projects, it will not crack or peel, can be buffed to a slightly higher sheen, and is very easy to use. Reapply when wear becomes evident—reapplication is just as easy. Best used with optional GF Hardener (#76328, sold separately) to improve durability and shorten dry time.

Optional Hardener (#76328) is easy-to-mix for greater durability and shorter dry times!

• Mix Hard Wax Oil thoroughly in the can
• Add 10% GF Hardener by volume (for example, 1/4 tsp per 1 fluid oz) to the Hard Wax Oil
• Stir mixture well before applying

Important: Once Hardener is mixed with Hard Wax Oil, the mixed product will harden in 4-6 hours. Use the mixture promptly.
